How much does after-build cleaning cost? ▾

After-build cleans start at £170 for a studio or one-bedroom property, £210 for two bedrooms, £250 for three, £290 for four, and £350 for five or more. Because post-construction work varies enormously in how much residue is left behind, we'll confirm the price once we've seen photos or visited — send images through the quote form for the most accurate figure.

What's the difference between a builders clean and a normal clean? ▾

Construction dust is far finer than household dust. It settles into every surface, sits inside sockets and window tracks, and gets redistributed the moment you disturb it. A builders clean uses different equipment and a different order of work — top down, multiple passes, dust extraction rather than sweeping. A standard domestic clean on a post-construction property will simply move the dust around.

Do we need to clear rubble first? ▾

Yes, please. We clean — we don't remove major construction waste, rubble or large debris. The property should be clear of those before we arrive. Anything that isn't clear may add time, charged at our standard hourly rate.

Are you insured? ▾

Yes, we carry Public Liability and Employers' Liability insurance, which matters more than usual on a site where other trades have been working. Details available on request.

Can you work around other trades? ▾

Often yes, though the result is better once everyone else has finished. If snagging is still ongoing we'd usually suggest a light clean now and a final clean at handover.
