1. These terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all cleaning services provided by Cores Group Ltd, trading as Core Services ("we", "us", "our"), to the client ("you", "your"). By booking or accepting our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

2.1

We will provide the cleaning services agreed with you, as set out in your quote, booking confirmation, or service agreement.

2.2

Any specific tasks, frequency, and standards will be confirmed in writing (email or written quote) before work begins.

2.3

We reserve the right to decline tasks that fall outside standard cleaning services, or that we consider unsafe, in line with our Health & Safety Policy.

3. Pricing and payment

3.1

Prices are as quoted and confirmed in writing prior to the start of work.

3.2

For one-off jobs (end of tenancy, after-build, Airbnb turnovers), full payment is due within 24 hours of job completion, via bank transfer or card payment (Stripe).

3.3

For ongoing commercial contracts, invoices are issued monthly and payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.

3.4

Late payment may result in suspension of further bookings until the outstanding balance is settled, and may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 for business clients.

3.5

We reserve the right to review and adjust pricing for ongoing contracts with 30 days' written notice.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

4.1

For one-off jobs (end of tenancy, after-build, Airbnb turnovers), we require at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.

4.2

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged at 50% of the agreed job value. Cancellations made on the day of the booking, or failure to provide access, will be charged in full.

4.3

For Airbnb turnover cleans specifically, where access is time-sensitive between guest stays, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full, given the limited window available to reallocate the slot.

4.4

For ongoing commercial contracts, termination of the service agreement requires 30 days' written notice from either party.

5. Access and preparation

5.1

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, including any keys, entry codes, or site permits required.

5.2

You will inform us in advance of any hazards, restricted areas, or site-specific risks (e.g. asbestos registers, ongoing construction work, other contractors on site), in line with our Health & Safety Policy, Section 15.

5.3

For end of tenancy and after-build cleans specifically, the property must be fully vacated of belongings, debris, and (for after-build) major construction waste/rubble before our arrival, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Additional time required due to non-compliance with this clause may be charged at our standard hourly rate.

5.4

If our operatives cannot gain access at the agreed time through no fault of ours, this will be treated as a late cancellation under Clause 4.

6. Liability

6.1

We hold Employers' and Public Liability Insurance (details available on request).

6.2

We will take reasonable care when providing services. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage arising from faulty or unsuitable fixtures, fittings, or equipment at the property not caused by our negligence.

6.3

Any damage caused by our negligence must be reported within 48 hours of the service, so it can be investigated and resolved.

6.4

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the relevant cleaning service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).

7. Client-supplied products or equipment

7.1

We use our own COSHH-assessed cleaning products and equipment wherever possible.

7.2

If you request that we use products or equipment supplied by you, we accept no liability for outcomes arising from the condition or suitability of that product or equipment.

8. Quality and complaints

8.1

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the completed clean, please contact us within 24 hours so we can investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a re-clean at no extra cost.

8.2

For end of tenancy cleans specifically, we recommend inspecting the property and raising any concerns before your check-out/handover deadline where possible, as re-cleans cannot be guaranteed once keys have been returned to a landlord or agent.

9. Data protection

9.1

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. General

10.1

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

10.2

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply.

10.3

We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version will be provided to you on request.
